I developed the site design and stormwater management plan for the courtyard and building exterior areas for a new dormitory at Loyola University. The project will be a hub for pedestrian activity and an important landmark as a gateway into the university. Paving patterns encourage movement and will be softened by planting to create intimate seating and gathering spaces. Green infrastructure highlights include rain gardens and permeable pavers all intertwined to capture the site’s stormwater runoff.
